Shanté Cosme is a media executive, writer, editor, and speaker based in New York City. She is currently the Chief Content Officer for Global Press, a nonprofit newsroom dedicated to training and employing women journalists in some of the world's least covered places. A media strategist with deep expertise building and growing impactful editorial brands, she previously served as Editor-in-Chief of Mic and Executive Editor of Complex. Throughout her career, and as an adjunct professor at New York University, she has been a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion in journalism.
