Larisa serves as Peace Direct’s Senior Communications Officer, helping with the organization’s media relations, social media strategy and platforms, public events and engagement. She previously worked as a reporter and producer for the foreign affairs team at the PBS NewsHour, reporting in places such as South Sudan, Pakistan, Haiti and Iraq. Her coverage includes writing profiles of remarkable people around the world who are working to improve their communities. Larisa also worked on Capitol Hill, covering Congress and administration policy for the nonpartisan Environment & Energy Daily.
