Charlie has 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur. Founding her first business at age 20, she became a successful advertising photographer working with Lexus, Nike, JC Penney, Comedy Central, and more. As a creative director, her clients include Paramount, Variety, and FX, to name a few. She has traveled and toiled in over 80+ countries, working as a writer, documentarian, and filmmaker with her photography work exhibited worldwide.
Charlie is a consultant specializing in strategic management and program design for social enterprises, tech/media companies, and NGOs before founding her own nonprofit, Hello Future. She is an Edmund Hilary Fellow, Kravis Leadership Moonshot Fellow, and a founding member of +Acumen's The Foundry. She currently serves as an advisor for several start-ups, including Pretty Deadly and Squawk Squad.
